Here comes the sun, and I say it's all right...

I took these pictures last night while I was driving. I know that it isn't the safest thing to do, but I couldn't resist it. I can't believe how beautiful the sunset was. It makes me grateful to live here, and grateful that I have eyes to see all of the beautiful things that our Heavenly Father has blessed us with!

Aubrey's 3rd Birthday

Aubrey's third birthday was so much fun. The party was at my clubhouse, and the kids had a cookie walk, and went fishing in the "cement" pond! A good time was had by all!

Mike's Binding

Mike Boulant is awesome. He does such an amazing job at binding rugs. He actually made this rug. As you can tell, he's extremely talented! If you are looking to buy a rug, let me know and I'll give you his phone number. He can take whatever kind of carpet, and make an amazing rug for you!

I threw an 25 year anniversary for my parents a few years ago, and I found this terrific new site from Hallmark, and so I've scrapbooked it.

My CTR 6 and 7 class

I've been wanting to put these pictures up forever. These kids are hilarious! My new Primary class is great, but I still miss "my kids". What's so fun about the new class is that every Sunday is an adventure. If you'll notice the first picture, they look all sweet and innocent, that's where they draw you in, and then bam, they're crazy, and I love it.

Happy Birthday Aubrey

It's Aubrey's Birthday today! I can't believe that she's 3 years old!
Time certainly has flown! Happy Birthday Aubrey!

The Tire Swing

Val and Jerry have a tire swing in their "backyard". We went out there on Saturday with all of their kids, and Mike and Tiff and their kids. It was so much fun. The adults got in on it too! I love this picture because it really shows how much fun Aubrey was having.

The Bead Girls

I took these girls to String Bead so we could make earrings and bracelets. Each has their own personality, and likes. It was a lot of fun to spend the afternoon with them, and be creative.

You've got the cutest little face.

I love this kid. I took these pictures when Haley and I went with Val and her kids to McDonalds. It was still pretty wet from the rain so we had to find a place to occupy them. Dallin is so photogenic, and really is a big sweetheart.

A Beloved Prophet of God

I know that everyone is putting stuff like this up on their blogs, but I really wanted to take a moment to reflect on President Hinckley's life. What a blessing he was to all of the world. While he will truly be missed, I can't help but think of the rejoicing that was done when he returned home. I read the statement that the Quorum of the Twelve released following President Hinckley's death. I can only echo their sentiments: “We will miss his wit and his wisdom, his leadership and his love. However, we cannot but rejoice in his reunion with his beloved Marjorie, with his parents and other family members who have gone before, and with the prophets of God, both ancient and modern, among whose eternal ranks he now stands. As the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles we echo the voice of the Master, ‘Well done, thou good and faithful servant. … Enter into the joy of thy Lord.’ ” I know that I was blessed because of President Hinckley's unwavering testimony, and service, as was the world. He will be missed, but there is also so much joy as he returns home.

The Fabulous Dallin

Ok, so I couldn't help myself. I love this picture of Dallin. I took this picture on his birthday. I told him to smile, and this is what I got! One of the things that I love about Dallin, is that he calls me Jenners. I know someday he will just call me Jen, but for now it's Jenners, and I love it!

Ode to Caity

This is one of my friend Val's kids. Caitlyn is one of the funniest people I know. Most of the time she is in her own little world, and I've never know a kid with such an amazing imagination. One minute she is Yoda, and then the next she has her pants hiked up, and is singing the nerd song! She also does a mean English accent! I love Caity. It truly is a privilege to know her and to be her friend. She's hilarious!

We had a family dinner on Thursday at my sister's house. It's been about a year since we were all together. It was really nice to be able to spend time together. Of course my nephew Travis showed off! He really liked the ring toy that grandma bought for Zachary!

So last weekend wasn't my favorite weekend of all time. Some fool slammed on his breaks in front of me, and I had to swerve to miss him, so I hit a sign post with my front bumper. The very next day my friend Jerry was putting air in my tires and after he was finished I was backing up in his parents orchard, and hit a tree, and it broke my tail light. No serious damage was done, but I was not a happy camper!

Look how cute!

I love this picture! I can't remember if I've already posted it or not, so I'm just going to do it again. It's so crazy to me that we are all so grown up now. Both my sister and brother have kids, and amazing kids at that, but sometimes I wish that we were the ones that got to run around and play, and jump on the grown-ups!

Our March 2007 Disney Trip Finally!!!

My Primary Class

I love these kids! I was there primary teacher for nearly 3 years. However, things changed this year, and I am teaching the 6 & 7 year olds. While I'm sure that I will love them, and truly enjoy the opportunity that I have to be their teacher, Maryssa, Hannah, Jaycee, Rikaela, and Cody will always hold a very special place in my heart. They were all baptised this year, and I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to teach them and to watch them grow into the amazing people that they are. As all teachers know, you learn way more from your students then you ever teach them!

Merry Christmas

What a blessing the Jones' have been in my life. They really are family. They were kind enough to include me again this year in their Christmas activities. The funny thing this year is that I left my cell phone in my car the night before, so nobody could get ahold of me. I guess after several phone calls, Val and Tiff came over. They were worried, and wanted to make sure that I was ok. After finding out that I was ok, Tiff "broke" up with me! Christmas was fantastic this year.

Our Christmas Eve

Every year without fail we switch off with my niece and nephew's mom. This year we got the kids on Christmas Eve. I was so excited this year because I was able to give Kyle a Nintendo DS, and help Haley with her High School Musical obsession! My nephew Travis is always fun, and got a ton of cool stuff, and the latest addition to our family Zachary had no idea what was going on, but sure enjoyed the packages. My sister and I were also able to get my mom a new digital camera. Among all of the ribbons and bows, and packages, it's easy to loose track of the true meaning of Christmas. I've thought about my saviour a lot especially this week, and saw a movie called the Nativity. I would recommend this to anyone. It reminded me where my thoughts needed to be! Happy Birthday!

Merry Christmas

I am grateful for so many things about Christmas! I love the sights the smells and the sounds. Children laughing, the house smelling like freshly baked cookies, and the amazing feeling that I get. I love to give gifts, but they could never compare to the amazing gift that we received that very first Christmas!
