Baby She's Got It!
I went to an 80's themed birthday party for Shannon Guadagnin on Saturday. It was so much fun! The food was excellent(thanks to Doug)and lots of good friends to hang out with. The music was so great, and the entertainment was superb. How often do you get to see Bananarama? Shannon, Delaney and Jenny were awesome. We even had the Cars show up!

Welcome to the family my lovelies!
OK, it's no secret that I LOVE shoes. From a fabulous pair of heels, to a super comfy pair of flip flops, I'm in love. So you can only imagine my surprise when I spotted these lovelies at Target tonight. They are my favorite kind, open toed sling backs, because I love to have my toes painted, and show them off! I had to have them, and we welcomed them to the family tonight. Both pairs are adjusting very nicely!

Faces of Alana
While we were at the park, we did a little impromptu photo shot of Alana. Such a fun and beautiful girl. It was a lot of fun to take these pictures. My favorite is the close-up of her laughing!

Fun with the West kids!
Val and Jer went out of town a couple of weeks ago, and I was able to help out a little bit by watching they're kids overnight. We ended up at the park, and the kids had a good time. It was a little cold, so we didn't get to stay long, but we had fun!

Ali's Birthday!
For Ali's birthday this year, we went to Val's had cake, and ice cream, some yummy pizza, and then played Guitar Hero! So much fun. I love a birthday. I love to give presents, and it's so much fun to see everyone, and just play games, and hang out.

Crafty girls!
Over Christmas break I got to hang out with the West's a lot! Val and I got pretty crafty, and we made a few things. It was so much fun, that she decided that she wanted the kids to have their names, and they got in on the act too! So much fun. We've even talked about doing a craft show, and making some more stuff, and she could sell some vinyl!

I asked for a Large...
Courtney and Caitlyn spent the night with me last weekend, and we got up early Saturday morning to go to Morning Thunder. I love this place. The portions are huge, and I can eat half of my breakfast, and be so full. Caitlyn and Courtney split the pancake. I have never seen a bigger pancake in my life. I love the expression on Caity's face. Priceless!
What the heck?
My what a big pancake you have there.
Cute sisters!

I LOVE this kid so much. He has brought so much joy to my life, and the lives of my family. He is sweet, and generous. His team just won the championship for his league, and while he was playing, a boy was hurt. He was the first one over there to make sure that the boy was ok, and this isn't the first time that I have witnessed this behavior. He makes me want to be a better person; to live up to the kind of person he thinks that I am. We are really close, and I thank my Heavenly Father every day for this relationship. He's AMAZING!

My Awesome List!
On Christmas Eve I had a funny conversation with my niece Haley. We were joking around, and she was being super sassy, so I told her, "Haley, you're on my list." To which she replied without missing a beat, "Yeah, your awesome list." Oh how I love this girl! I laughed so hard that I nearly peed my pants! She is on my awesome list!

Merry Christmas!
We usually do our Christmas on Christmas Eve because that's when we get Kyle and Haley. This year it was at my sister's new house. She was super excited to host it this year. We had my mom's tacos, which I love, and opened gifts, and just hung out.
I love Haley's surprise look!
Zachary is so cute! He had the best time with all of his new toys.

This is my favorite holiday. I love that everyone is so excited and it is amazing to watch the kids open gifts, and really enjoy themselves!

Nativities
I've been thinking a lot about Nativity scenes the last few weeks. I've seen some amazingly beautiful ones, and some that are a little out there, but they all have the same purpose; to bring us to remembrance of such a sacred event. I love the look on the faces of the figures in a nativity. They are filled with such reverence and awe. I can't imagine the feelings that they experienced the night the Savior was born. I think about that night often. I am so grateful to my Savior and my Heavenly Father. I love this time of year. I love Christmas carols and the spirit that they bring. It is easy to feel the spirit at this time of the year. It reminds me that I can feel it all of the time if my heart and mind are in the right place. I need to be better at that.

My Grandpa, My Hero
I thought that this photo would be super appropriate today. I love this man, and miss him very much. He passed away at the end of my senior year of high school. He was an amazing man, who served his country during World War Two. He was stationed at Pearl Harbor when it was attacked, and lost some very good friends. He served his country valiantly, and loved his family more than life! I still get very emotional when I think about him. He always made me laugh, and always made me feel so special. I am a better person because he is my grandfather, and look forward to the reunion that we will have one day. Thanks for all you did Grandpa. You're my HERO!

More family photos
We found this amazing spiral walkway in Marysville. The kids loved it. They could run up and down, and I got some great shots too!
I love this photo. It is so sweet.
