Fun at Aunt Jenny's

Yesterday Kyle, Haley, and Zachary stayed the night at my house! It was a first for Zachary. It was so much fun to finally have him here. So everything was going really well yesterday afternoon while we were waiting to pick Kyle up from his basketball practice, and I have had the same conversation with Haley over and over again. No Cartwheels in the house. You'd think that after telling her not to do it about 400 times, she'd get the picture. Well yesterday she saw the consequences of doing cartwheels. She did one, and Zachary was right behind her, and POW, right in the forehead. The poor little thing was kicked in the head by his sister, and instantly had a huge bump on his noggin! He cried for a minute, and then was just fine. Haley then went to get some frozen veggies so I could bring the swelling down, and a roll of hamburger fell out of the freezer, and got Haley's foot. Karma as Kyle calls it! Barring all of the little incidences, it was so much fun to have them all at my house. We did miss Travis though, so we'll have to make sure that he's with us next time.

Trick or Treat

I hung out with the West Family on Halloween! I went over to their house early Friday morning, and helped Alana get ready for school, and then did the make-up for the other kids that night. It was alot of fun, and brought back some memories of when I use to be so excited to go trick or treating!

Mummy Cookies

Kerri made these awesome sugar cookies for FHE tonight. They are so cute! It makes me want to bake!

Hi Baby Girl!

I got the extreme pleasure of babysitting Alexa the other day! I can see why Kerri loves her so much. She is such a sweet baby, and that grin just melts your heart! Thanks for hanging out with me Lexi!

We're digesting Squids!

I saw Caitlyn yesterday, and here was our conversation:

"Hi Jen. Next week we are studying squids. The week after that we are digesting them." I just looked at her for a second, and her Grandma said, "Don't you mean, disecting them?" She then said, "Yea, disecting them."

This is one of the many reasons that I love Caity!

Several years ago a group of us went to Ashland to see Julius Caesar. Originally the trip was suppose to include just four of us. Melissa, Tiff, Ali, and me. When people found out we were going, they wanted to too. Who can blame them, we are pretty cool.

Kerri

This is my friend Kerri, and her beautiful daugher Alexa! Kerri and I have been friends for goodness, 17 years. I am so glad that we are friends, and that we have the opportunity to serve together in Primary!

More pictures from Caitlyn's baptism.

Caitlyn's baptism!

Caitlyn is 8! She was so excited that she was going to be baptized. Her baptism was so amazing. Annette spoke about baptism, and Ali spoke about the Holy Ghost. Their talks were so great, and Caity was so engaged in the talks. I was so happy to be there, and witness this terrific event in her life.

Happy Birthday Caitlyn

Happy Birthday Caity! I can't believe that you are 8!

I love these pictures of Caitlyn and Alana. So full of fun, and life!

Caity, Jared, and Dallin went with me the other day to get gas, and they thought that it was hilarious to stand up in my car, and out of the sun roof!

Yes, don't I look so cute! I've never worked anywhere where I wear the grubbiest clothes that I have, and it's not only ok, but incouraged! It's gross, and dirty, and not really my thing, but boy am I thankful that I have this job!

The Huller

For those of you who wonder what it is I do all day at work, here you go. I walk out to the Huller where they wash and clean Walnuts, and gather the information, and then put it into the computer.

This is just one row of bins full of Walnuts. I have never seen so many walnuts in my life!

Soccer Saturdays

I went to the West kid's soccer games this weekend. It was so much fun to watch them play, and they all had a good time. Jared did get hit in the face, but he shook it off and got back into the game! So proud of you!

Is that Dallin?

I had the amazing pleasure of watching 5 of Val and Jerry's kids over Labor Day, while they went out of town for a much needed overnighter! I love these kids so much. We went to my house for lunch, and had pizza, and while they were there, they found a wig that I wore for Halloween a few years ago. So of course each of them had to try it on. Dallin looked so dang cute that I had to take a picture of him! I love this kid! He's hilarious!

Our Song...

I love when these girls come to stay with me. Talk about entertaining, and they are always wanting to make some kind of video.

Little Toes

I paint Val's toes fairly often. I love to put little designs on toes. We actually decided to paint Bryn's this time. She looks so cute with her little toes painted!

Sweet Moves

Travis visits

Travis and my sister Shannon came over the other day to visit me. It was so fun to see him. He is so sticking cute, and I was so glad that they came over to visit for a few hours. I wish that I could see him more often. He's such a great kid!

Highlighting Val's Hair

One night a few weeks ago, we took a little time out to highlight Val's hair. It was a lot of fun to play hairdresser, but everytime I do this for one of my friends I get a little freaked out because I don't want to mess their hair up. It turned out well, but not as blonde as we would have liked it to be, so the other night we did it again with much better results.

Hey Girls

I also found this picture. It was taken at Halloween a few years ago, right after I moved in with Sarah and Susan. I love these girls.

Scrunchies, and Sweat Pants, and Bad 90's Hair Oh My!

So, I've been meaning to post this picture for a long time. Val and I have been friends for 16 years. It's crazy how quickly time goes by, and how different our lives are now, but no matter what has happened or where our lives have taken us, our friendship has not only remained intact, but has thrived. I am so incredibly blessed to have Val as my friend.

So, if you look closely, you will notice Tiff on the left, and behind Val and me, I think it's Matt Aylworth, and then to the right of me, yes folks, it's Tyler Caveness. Do you think we've changed a little or what?
