We took a drive to Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam the first full day that I was in Vegas. I could not believe how amazing the lake was. So pretty, with such blue water.
I was surprised by the enormity of the Hoover Dam. It was amazing to see. We just drove over it and back, but I couldn't believe that it was so big, and what I loved most about it is that I was in Nevada, and then I was in Arizona. Never had been to Arizona before. Another state down!

Wow, I didn't realize how blue Lake Mead is! It is really pretty. What did you think of the crazy traffic getting back into Nevada?
