I spent the weekend watching Bryn and Dallin while Val and Jerry went on a much needed trip! I love these kids, it was so much fun!

The last pictures are a bit jumbled, but it was really quiet in the West house, and when I went to check on Dallin and Bryn, I found all of the books from the bottom shelf on the floor in the entry way. After I asked them to put them away, this is what I found.

These kids have so much energy, and are so much fun! I am greatful that they are in my life, and I get to hang out with them so much!

Kyle had a great birthday. A BBQ at Hooker Oak, basketball with his friends, a dip in the creek, and fun presents!

6th Ward Reunion

Nikki and Shane put together a long over due 6th Ward Reunion. It was so much fun just hanging out, and seeing people that I haven't seen for a while. There was a decent turn out, but several people were missed. Next time, hopefully more people will be able to come!

Haley had a fun birthday party on Saturday. It was a lot of fun to see her hang out with her friends, and have a good time.

Flower Brownies

I made these the other day. I had to improvise, I couldn't find a muffin tin, so I used a glass cake dish, and voila, flower brownies. They were tasty, and cute.

What a beautiful baby you were! I was so excited for you to come. Your mom and dad let me come into the delivery room when you were born, and I held you right after your Dad got you, and fell instantly in love with you. As a baby you were cute, and sweet, squishy, and amazing!



As an 11 year old, you are amazing. You're sweet, funny, stubborn, and have become such a wonderful person. You are kind, and aware of others. It has been my priviledge to be in your life, to love you, and to be your aunt. What a blessing you have been to our family. I love you Haley!

New Hobbie????

I made this for my sister for her birthday this year. She recently had family pictures taken, and hopefully she'll use it for that. I really enjoy craft projects. It makes me want to make more. Krisha's idea of a freebie may come in handy here! My mom also does craft fairs, so I may try to make a few, and see if she can sell anything for me!

Happy Birthday Shannon

Happy Birthday Shannon! Today is my sister's 34th birthday. We had a little family party for her tonight. Shannon is great, she's funny, and sweet, and best of all, she thinks I'm funny! I hope that she had the best birthday ever!

Kerri and I are taking a digital photography class at Butte together! I took this pic of her from our first class. I'm excited that she's in it with me. It makes it a whole lot more fun!

Go Kings

Val and I went to a Kings game a couple of weeks ago. It was so much fun to hang out, just the two of us. The Kings lost (of course) by we had a great time. While we were in Sacramento, we were on our way to the store to get some money, and saw a bus, with a car behind it. The bus was at a full stop, and so was the car. The car then proceeded to hit the back bumper of the bus. How it happened, I'll never know, but we laughed about it forever!

A Happy Birthday for Jerry

Val and I decided to decorate Jerry's office for his birthday. We had this elaborate plan. This is how it started. I called Val acting super upset. (We made sure that Jerry answered the phone) Jerry thought that I was crying, I wasn't, but my heart was pounding about 1,000 beats per second. Val met me at Jerry's office, and a friend let us in. We then proceeded to pour the 100+ balloons that we had blown up earlier that day on to the floor, and put signs and streamers up on the wall. We had to be careful, because apparently there is a sensor that will set off the alarm if it is touched. It was a lot of fun hanging out with Val, and trying to pull one over on Jerry. We tried to be tricky, but of course he knew it was us. It kinda reminded me of our secret admirer days!

Saturday Soccer

I have the privildge of spending Saturday's watching Haley play soccer. This season, my friend Val's kids are playing too. Haley has become good friends with Val's kids, and a couple of Saturdays ago, Haley and Courtney had to play against each other. Cheering for both of them was a lot of fun!

So, I was going through some old scrapbooks, and saw this picture. I can't believe that this was almost 10 years ago. In case you're wondering, I'm a dead prom queen.

Me: He's at his Mom's house.
Dallin: Is he your baby?
Me: I don't have a baby. Am I married?
Dallin: Yes
Me: Who am I married to?
Dallin: Me, you're married to me.

Sad Kitty

Dallin is staying at my house until tomorrow night. It's been so wonderful just to hang out with him by himself, and have a little one on one time. Today we walked over to Coleen's house and hung out there. He played with Trev, and Coleen and I painted their faces. Kenzie, Adam, and Alexa were there too.

Dallin's paint kept coming off, so I told him that when we got back to my house I would use different paint. I did, and after 5 minutes, he was ready to have it off of his face, but not before I took these pictures. He said that he was a sad kitty... I love this kid!

A few weeks ago, I went to Travis' basketball game. It was hilarious! I love the way that 6 year olds play ball. Lots of jumping up and down, and traveling. It was a lot of fun, and Kyle has decided that he is going to be Travis' own personal coach. This should be interesting.
